Publisher earnings penalties

Here at 1800banners.com, we are focused on getting high quality websites to participate in our exchange. We have installed a new system that will reduce publishers earning rates when they exceed certain (total impressions) thresholds without getting any clicks on the banners. Publishers that place banners at the very bottom of the page, in hidden areas or pages with no content will be effected/penalized by this change. By reducing earnings for these low value publishers that provide no value to the exchange, we are making more ad inventory available for publishers that provide value to the network as well as advertisers. There is a "Publisher status" field in the members area homepage that will inform you if you are being penalized due too extremely low CTR, or getting no clicks at all on banners. In order for publishers to avoid being penalized they must maintain a DAILY ctr higher than .0002%. Our system evaluates publishers on a DAILY basis. If you are penalized for a single day, the penalization will be removed automatically if your CTR rises the next day.
